Week 1-2 (August 14-24)
Every effective organization and business holds a set of values that unite their employees in the work they do as well as a mission statement articulating how their values will be showcased on a day to day basis.
These values and mission statement is what brings people together; it is the common thread, uniting diverse thoughts, opinions, personalities and cultures towards a common goal.
For the past couple weeks, we discussed the values held by businesses and organizations and brainstormed values that we could embrace for our own classroom.
Once we establish and agree on our own set of values, we will start to create our own personal mission statements!
